18 year old hacked to death by deportee and other gang members.

An  18year old Corentyne Berbice youth was hacked to death in what his relatives are claiming is a case  of mistaken identity, but there  are different theories about the matter. The 18 year old man has been identified as Marlon Andrew Ramcharran of Tain. He was reportedly attacked by a deportee and other members of a gang who dealt him multiple chop  wounds about his body.

The incident occurred a few streets  away from his home in Tain early Sunday morning.

There are reports that the incident stemmed from an old grievance with the victim and another man some time back, but his mother told capitol news that she is unaware of any reason for his unexpected death.

The single parent woman Geetawatie Ramgobin  said that her son was the back bone of their family since she and her husband separated some years ago.

Two of the suspects were arrested by the police and  capitol news understands that two others are on the run.
