Wales Estate Strike

Wales Sugar workers on Thursday mounted another picketing exercise this time it has to do with GUYSUCO taking away one hour from their days pay.

According to the workers for this new crop they are working at the Uitvlugt estate and the company is just placing them on the trucks and transport them to their location.

The Sugar Corporation is trying to cut cost and the workers believe it should not be at their expense.

The workers pledged to continue their industrial action until the management of the estate revert to their original position.
