Two young men have been committed to stand trial in the High Court for the November 2021 murder of physician Dr. Colin Roach.

Hilton Oliver Franklyn, 23, and Lenryc Bayass, 22, will appear at the next sitting of the Supreme Court of Judicature. The decision was handed down on Friday by Magistrate Rhondell Weaver, following the conclusion of the Preliminary Inquiry.

At the time of the killing, Franklyn and Bayass were 19 and 18 years old, respectively. They are being represented by Attorneys Latchmie Rahamat and Nigel Hughes.

Dr. Roach’s body was discovered in his Duke Street, Kingston office with injuries to his face and head.
