The Police in French Guiana have found the body of a young woman from Guyana. The body has been identified as that of 34-year-old Coretta Blair Sandy called “Mindy”. The body was found in swamp in a squatting area in the French Department. Several Guyanese occupy that area.
The French Police are said to be in contact with their Guyanese counterparts who have arrested a suspect. He is being detained by the police in Guyana. The suspect is the alleged boyfriend of the now dead woman. Both of them reportedly departed French Guiana for Guyana a few days ago. She was not heard from since the couple reportedly left French Guiana.
