The Guyana Police Force has launched an investigation into the assault of Bryan Mackintosh called Bryan Max at the hands of Mikhael Rodrigues called the Guyanese Critics.
The assault was live streamed by Mackintosh who was invited into Rodrigues studio.
Mackintosh who is on the list of candidates of We Invest In Nationhood Party (WIN) later released images of his bloodied face. Mackintosh said his bloodied face was the outcome of an invitation into an office to collect money. He claims that he was assaulted with firearms.
In the recording, somebody believed to be Rodrigues is heard telling Mackintosh “I am inviting you inside”.
Before the assault, Mackintosh directed words at Ossie Rogers following which Rodrigues got up from his seat and approached Mackintosh, striking him resulting in him falling to the ground as the beating continued.
Following the circulation of the recording the Guyana Police Force said it has launched an investigation into an incident captured on video and is being circulated on social media involving Rodrigues and Bryan Max. The force has promised a further update on the progress of the investigation.
