A 41-year-old Wallers Delight man lost his life on Sunday night on the Ruimzeight Public Road, West Coast Demerara during a hit and run accident.
The deceased has been identified as Mohamed Wahab. Mohamed and his brother Ahmad were riding double file when a white minibus heading in the same direction at a fast rate struck Mohamed who collapsed on the roadway.
Mohamed, who sustained injuries to his body was transported to the West Demerara Public Hospital in an unconscious state where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
