The remains of eleven-year-old Adriana Younge is expected to be transported to the United States where a second autopsy will be performed. This was confirmed by the family’s attorney Dexter Todd.

According to Mr. Todd the necessary paperwork is being prepared so as to transport her remains out of the country, where US based pathologists will conduct a thorough review.

The attorneys said Adriana’s family is seeking closure and the truth of what transpired.

Adriana should have been attending secondary school this September disappeared at the Double Hotel at Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo where she had gone with relatives for an Easter outing.

A limited search was carried out of the Hotel, but an extensive search of the pool was conducted the day she disappeared and the morning her body mysteriously appeared in the pool.

A post-mortem examination conducted by three independent foreign pathologists concluded that Younge died from drowning. However, the time of death remains undetermined, and toxicology results are still pending.
