A woman was on Friday sentenced to three years in prison and fined just over $80,000 on a charge of drug trafficking.
The woman, Hermattie Dharamdai – 45, appeared in the Weldaad Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Shivani Lallram where she pleaded guilty to trafficking 55.5 grams of cocaine or the equivalent of 0.122 pound. She was sentenced to three years and fined $83,250.
