Police are in search of a twenty-seven-year-old Agricola resident in connection with the killing of a fellow villager identified as Nicholas Narine called Biggs – 28.

According to the police, Narine and the suspect Raphael Bollers are known to each other. However, at 8:15 hrs today Narine and others were cleaning a drain in Titus Street Agricola, in proximity to Bollers home. It is said that Bollers, who was armed with a gun discharged three rounds at Narine.

As Narine collapsed to the ground, Bollers, still armed, ran out of the yard and made good his escape. Narine was rushed to the Diamond Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Narine, the police said was shot thrice – once to his right-side abdomen, once to his back and right upper hand.

Meanwhile, the police arrested the twenty-two-year-old Keon Narine was taken into custody for discharging a loaded firearm with intent at the home of the suspect. Keon is Nicholas’ younger brother.

According to the police, Keon Narine went to the home of Gideon Bollers, the father of the suspect on motorcycle and armed with a gun. Stopping in front of the Brutus Street property, the twenty-two-year-old discharged several rounds at the property after which he escaped.

The young man was arrested at his Caesar Street, Agricola home. Ranks conducted a search where they found an AR-15 rifle and one magazine with 5 live 5.56 rounds of ammunition in a bedroom.

Keon Narine, an electrician reportedly told investigators that he shot at 60-year-old Gideon Bollers home because his son had killed his brother. He also told investigators that the gun belonged to his dead brother, Nicholas.
