Three men have been taken into custody in connection to a 24.57LBS cocaine bust according to a statement issued by the drug enforcement agency, the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU).

CANU said acting on information received it conducted an operation on Wednesday at Lombard and Sussex Streets in the capital city Georgetown and a motor car was intercepted.

During a search of the car ten (10) brick-like parcels containing cocaine were found. Two men Colin Alfred-47 and Terrence Bentick-28 were arrested and escorted to the CANU’s headquarters following which a wanted bulletin for Lloyd De Freitas called ‘White Boy’ was issued.

De Freitas subsequently turned himself in to the authorities and was booked and remains in custody with the others as the investigation continues.
